Carboxy Therapy

Carboxytherapy is the administration of carbon dioxide [CO2] gas for therapeutic purposes. Carboxytherapy is used for the treatment of dark under-eye circles, stretch-marks, cellulite reduction, and non-surgical localized fat sculpting on the face and the body. Carboxytherapy can be used to treat the eyelids, face, neck, arms, stomach, buttocks, and legs. By the introduction of Carbon Dioxide in localized areas, this forces the body to increase the blood flow to remove the gas. By this action, this localized area is flooded by oxygenated blood-flow resulting in removal of the dark pigment under the eyes. In addition to increasing oxygenated blood-flow to the region injected, carboxytherapy also increases collagen formation in the skin, giving it a more youthful appearance.
